Did you know? The work of art entitled “Tour de l’Abitibi” is part of the Art & Heritage collection of the City of Val-d’Or and the Val-d’Or Exhibition Center presents this art collection from February 2 to 18, 2018.

The Val-d’Or Exhibition Center and the Cultural Service of the City of Val-d’Or have been collaborating for a few years in the development of a policy for the development and management of the municipal collection: the Art & Collection Heritage.

The City of Val-d´Or does indeed have a collection of works of art and inventory work has been done to better document it. This work also makes it possible to develop means to make the municipal collection known to the citizens of Val-d´Or. The Art & Heritage Collection of the City of Val d´Or is made up of diversified and quality works, which attest to the original traces of municipal history, and these works deserve public presentation.
