August 25th, 2017 : A few days ago, I received a text from a friend telling me that going for a walk at the Val-d’Or baseball field would certainly make me very happy. So today, I walked past the field and as there was no one there, I went there directly to go around and believe me I was very happy to discover the surprise. I almost shed a tear! All alone, I sat for a few moments on the grass to savor the moment and look all around me, imagining all these young enthusiasts who dream one day of becoming great players …! Then, I remembered this great evening in honor of Derek Aucoin, professional player and great right-hander of the major baseball leagues.
